Since 2005, Dan has worked as a dedicated technology entrepreneur who has founded and guided multiple ventures to successful exits. With a focus on business growth through product innovation and quality user experiences, he's cultivated a reputation for transforming rough ideas into clear realities. Having led three startups through strategic acquisitions, Dan has honed a knack for identifying market white spaces, assembling talented teams, and building great businesses.
Dan earned majors in Entrepreneurship and Business Information Systems from Baylor University in 2004.
As a commercial pilot, Dan volunteers for Angel Flight, taking patients in need of medical treatment to and from care facilities.
Founded MX Force
Before "The Cloud" was a buzzword, MX Force was a SaaS solution that used machine learning to fight spam. Sold to J2 in 2016 and incorporated into their product line.
Founded Sendinc
Using a modern and intuitive UI (for 2008), Sendinc provides a simple and secure way to encrypt email. Sold to J2 in 2017
Founded Kickbox
Kickbox offers email deliverability tools and APIs. Quickly grew to millions in ARR with many major brands using the service to this day. Sold to Ziff Davis in 2020.
Founded Postflight
Postflight enables seamless communication between aircraft operators and aircraft service providers. Exit date TBD 😉
